the weather's been pretty random this week, it's hot but muggy but hopefully by the time you get here it'll be shining
ReplyDeleteas for things to visit i just love walking around the shops near st james and town hall, getting lunch then chilling at hyde park.
botanical gardens is a 10-15min walk from st james depending on how fast you walk
sitting by the dock at circular quay or darling harbour is always nice when the weather's good
there's also the aquarium you can visit, the Museum of Contemporary Art at Circular Quay and The Art Gallery of NSW
outside of the city i suggest going to the newtown/glebe markets on saturdays and also the farmer's markets at Carriageworks which is a 15min walk from Redfern station

ReplyDeleteSYDNEY IS MY HOME! and it is beautiful (as you probably know already)...as is your blog. Head out to the northern beaches for some epic beauty Palmy (palm beach) and avalon are the bested...plus avalon has got a few great little shops like bassike and fleur wood....

pretty dog in newtown is great
ampersand cafe and bookstore paddington is a winner
bourke street bakery in surry hills/darlinghurst is amazing as is Four ate Five cafe
