so I scalped a mermaid..

yay, the ends of my hair are blue. Yvan Rodic(the face hunter) is in Auckland, party tonight, kelly's organising it and her, me and alexa made icecream shaped cupcakes last night for it, kelly's also making candy sushi and toffee apples and punch. ahh. she's amazing and starting a blog which will also be amazing, i'll share the link with you all when it's up and running.

  14. Honey, you're gorgeous, and I love your stuff but… you're costing me a whole lotta time and money!!

    I noticed your pix were loading ridiculously slowly, saved an image and had alook at it in PS… and my suspicions were true: you're uploading your images at PRINT QUALITY RESOLUTION! 300DPI!!!

    Please stop! You're also costing yourself money, because your photos are HUGE in memory size and uploading them costs a decent amount more than if you were saving them at screen qual 72dpi instead!

    Plus, it alienates a lot of your followers who don't want to have to sit around all day waiting for your photos to load.

    AND at that resolution, you are an excellent person to rip off >:) It means any old conniving person can come along and steal your images and print them off and sell them. Flattering yes, but:
    1.disrespectful and something that makes you trust the world less when it happens to you
    2. Because it isn't a lossless format, its actually a BAD qual prinable image. So, people can steal your image and print it large, but at the end of the day, the image has experience a lot of "digital" wear and tear, and will not be perfect qual. So some suckers will be paying a hefty buck for low qual images that aren't even being sold by the original creator!

    So, in conclusion: you clearly have Photoshop, so please go into "Image size:" and untick all them boxes down the bottom, and change "resolution" to 72 before uploading your photos :)

    Your followers will really appreciate it, as will your ISP :)
